Tope Abulude CBA
Tope started designing events as a hobby while studying for a Masters degree in Architecture. He caught the balloon bug in 1996 at the European Balloon Symposium and has since traded designing buildings for Balloon Art. He caters to a varied range of decor clientele from his North London Design Studio.
Tope's background knowledge of design is evident in all aspects of his work and has earned him the following prestigious awards:
1997 - 3rd place Small sculpture IBAC Chicago
1997 - 1st place Delivery bouquet IPS Birmingham
2000 - Joint "Designer of the year" IBAC Chicago
2002 - 1st place Table Centerpiece IBAC Chicago
2002 - 3rd place Non-Round sculpture 1BAC Chicago
Tope designed the Medieval themed costume party at the 2003 International balloon Arts Convention (IBAC)
His work has also been featured in Balloon Images, Balloon Ideas, Balloon Magic, Balloon and Parties, Party times (UK), and various national and local newspapers.

Sue Bowler (nee Marston-Weston) CBA
Sue has worked within the balloon industry since the early 1990’s. Starting with a successful decorating business. She quickly developed her skills and knowledge to take her career as a Balloon Artist to a new level by completing the CBA program and attending many industry events such as IBAC and participating in competitions. Latterly Sue worked as Sales & Marketing Manger for Conwin. Today, Sue has returned to her passion of Industry instructor, working freelance for both Conwin and Qualatex and is very excited to have the opportunity to work with both companies.
Sue loves working with balloons, her design skills are extensive, ranging from large décor projects such as balloon walls through to appealing mini balloons sculptures, many of which have become great profit makers for balloon business’s worldwide. Sue is also known for her elegant wedding and centrepiece designs.
Sue is a renown industry speaker and qualified teacher, she taught Balloon Art Skills for Capel Manor College, UK as well as at many industry events around the world. Sue’s work regularly features in Balloon Images Magazine, Conwin website and more recently in the Balloon Decor Master Series DVD set released 2009. |

Lucy Hennessy CBA
Lucy has been in the balloon industry since 2000, managing an ever-expanding balloon decorating company and lecturing balloon artistry at Capel Manor College since 2003. As a newly qualified Qualatex Approved Instructor, Lucy is looking forward to creating impactive and cost effective designs to wow students and their potential clients. Lucy also co designed Capel Manor’s 2nd placed Large sculpture at IPS 2005 & 2006. |

Dennis Hogers CBA
Dennis Started as a clown in a children’s circus where he performed from the age of 3 to 14. He travelled with a theatre company as a technician where he met Ingrid, who now is his wife. Together, they started to perform together, first as clowns, but soon discovering balloons - another balloon-o-maniac was born! Dennis has been in the balloon business for 10 years now and has been teaching for 7 of these years.
He is completely hooked on balloons and this can be seen in his teaching. He teaches at least 2 workshops each month, varying from beginner to very advanced. “I think that teaching is not only about sharing knowledge,” says Dennis. “Teaching should also be fun. I want participants in my workshops to enjoy it, have fun and that way learn more”. He loves the fact that he can make whatever he thinks of from balloons – a rare skill.
Dennis speaks English, Dutch and some German.

Jodie Norris CBA
Jodie has lectured in balloon Artistry at Capel Manor College and runs her own Balloon Artistry business. Jodie certainly dedicates her time to promoting, improving and training people for our industry. Her list of awards include; ‘Designer of the year’ at IPHS 1998 & 2002. 2nd place EBS ‘98, First place IPHS ’99, 1st place IPHS ’00, and 1st place at IBAC ‘01. Gold Medal winner at the The Qualatex EVENT ™ 2002.

Dee White CBA
Dee has been entertaining with balloons for the past 15 years and during that time he has also learned the skills of balloon decorating. He feels that DecoTwist is the way forward for the industry as it offers many new and exciting opportunities with outstanding and profitable results!
Dee's balloon creations have gained him many industry awards over the years, as well as teaching experiences all over the world. Dee's flair for balloons (both décor and twisting) comes across in his popular classes where his passion and creativity are communicated to students all over the world; his teaching methods are flamboyant and exciting not to be missed! |
