Bob Armstrong CBA
Bob Armstrong CBA, otherwise known as Dr Bob, has been in the balloon business for 15 years and has had a retail outlet for 11 years. “I have a passion for what I do” says Bob “and I enjoy passing on my skills. I’m still enthusiastic about balloons, even after 15 years!”
Dr Bob’s Balloons is a full range party shop in Barry, South Wales, offering balloon decor, partyware, fancy costume, deliveries, banners, cards and anything else you can think of to do with parties. Bob has been teaching for Pioneer for about 5 years as well as running his business.
He specialises in unique balloon twisting and sculpting and is renowned for his creative displays. Catering for a large corporate market, Bob brings with him a vast knowledge of balloon decor techniques and expertise. He has a skill for precision and perfection and, with an acquired teaching background, is keen to pass on his skills as an instructor within the balloon industry. He has enjoyed sharing his knowledge at the IPHS, NABAS and Qualatex Events.

Luc Bertrand CBA
An instructor since 1996, Luc has won numerous awards for his balloon decor work. He is known for his innovative compositions and techniques and creates commercial balloon designs for all types of clients. Luc owns a 3000-square-foot balloon shop in Belgium. Luc has been teaching for Pioneer® in over 15 different countries all over the world. and was voted best overseas instructor at the Qualatex event 2001.

Ed Chee CBA
Ed Chee has been twisting for over 12 years. He is an award-winning balloon artist, the author of the “Hat Attack!!!” DVD, producer of many DVD's for various balloon artists, founder and host of Diamond Jam, and a featured instructor at several major conventions. Known for his extremely detailed style of twisting, he has appeared several times on television and has been the subject of several articles in magazines and newspapers.

Dominique Delhaye CBA
Dominique Delhaye cba, Well known as “DOM” is a balloon passionate since 1990. He discovered balloons by chance In Strasbourg were a magician gave him his first 260q. Furthermore after opening his party shop in Metz in the year 1997, he soon realized the impact of Balloon decor and further specialised in this direction by becoming CBA and then QAI. With his enthusiasm as ever DOM will learn you the basics of balloon modelling.

Passionate about balloons, Manon goes beyond imagination and breathes life into her creations on scene. After a third prize in a stage competition, she went to china to let them discover her talent. Today she makes her living from her passion…Balloon art.

Benedicte Dupuis CBA
Historian, Benedicte got very quickly fond of childhood (magazines, toys, parties, etc..), and finally discovered the balloon universe in Paris in 1995 at the European balloon symposium. Since then she never left the balloons by becoming first CBA and then QAI. Three years ago, Benedicte opened a shop, A “workshop”, dedicated to balloons, its selling and promoting.

Alberto Falcone CBA
Alberto is passionate about balloons and his designs just ooze with flair and innovation. He is constantly exploring new techniques and designs to sell to his clients. He is a world class designer having achieved: in both 1999 and 2000 1st Prize for his Large Sculptures at BACI, 1st Prize for his large Sculpture at IBAC in 2002 as well as achieving overall Designer of the Year. Alberto has travelled around the world teaching and demonstrates a true Italian eye for design wherever he goes.

Sue Marston-Weston CBA
Sue has been involved in the balloon industry since 1991, starting with a home based balloon company and latterly moving into further education, and has taught as an instructor for Pioneer in many countries worldwide.
After following the QBN programme and becoming a CBA, Sue progressed in the balloon trade by attending as many industry events as possible. She will tell you that if you want to learn skills from some of the industries best, then there is no better way than by attending an event or convention where you will live, eat, sleep and breathe balloons for a few days.
Sue has won many awards and was voted best UK training provider of the year several times. She now works with Conwin as their Sales Manager.
“I love my job, working with balloons and I get a great deal of satisfaction creating something new and sharing it with others” says Sue. “I can honestly say that in 17 years I have never had a bad day or wished that I did something else for my living”.

Graham and Mary Queen Rouse
Graham and Mary Queen Rouse of Rouse International began teaching as a team 17 years ago. This dynamic duo brings a wealth of information and experience to the Balloon Industry. Graham is the inventor of Internal Wire Sculpturing (Lite-Sculptures and Fantasy Flowers), Rouse Designer Panels and Rouse Matrix Systems.
The Rouses' exciting lives are filled with inventing, creating, teaching, exhibiting, consulting, writing, publishing and manufacturing. Teaching is one of the Rouses' passions, and they have taught "balloons" on five continents. When not on the road, they live in Columbia, SC, USA. They have six wonderful children and five fabulous grandchildren.

Royal Sorell CBA
Royal Sorell cba started performing on stage in Boston, Massachusetts, USA delighting audiences of all ages with his blend of Mime, Magic and creative balloon art in 1978.
Royal loves to explore the limits of using non-round balloon art in his stage act and creating monumental balloon sculptures for special events.
Royal has taught his unique style of balloon art and performance at numerous conventions and seminars in the U.S., Europe, Japan, and South America since 1989. His favorite color is red. His favorite wife of 23 years is Patty.
