Taking the practical exam is the final step in earning your CBA and this can only be accomplished after completing the 3 online tests, "QBN Balloon Basics", "QBN Balloon Deliveries" and "QBN Balloon Decor" and passing!

This is a four hour assessment of your understanding on the curriculum and the Principles & Elements of Design.  On passing this assessment with a percentage of 80% or more you will have gained your CBA accreditation.
The exam will commence at 10.00 am and will finish at approximately 14.00. Please arrive at half an hour beforehand to settle in and the assessor to talk through the procedure.  The cost for the exam is £40.00

Sue Bowler

Sue has worked within the balloon industry since the early 1990’s. Starting with a successful decorating business, she quickly developed her skills and knowledge to take her career as a Balloon Artist to a new level by completing the CBA programme and attending many industry events such as IBAC and participating in competitions. Latterly Sue worked as Sales & Marketing Manager for Conwin. Today, Sue has returned to her passion of Industry instructor, working freelance for both Conwin and Qualatex and is very excited to have the opportunity to work with both companies.
 
Sue loves working with balloons, her design skills are extensive, ranging from large décor projects such as balloon walls through to appealing mini balloons sculptures, many of which have become great profit makers for balloon business’s worldwide. Sue is also known for her elegant wedding and centrepiece designs.
 
Sue is a renowned industry speaker and qualified teacher, she taught Balloon Art Skills for Capel Manor College, UK as well as at many industry events around the world. Sue’s work regularly features in Balloon Images Magazine, Conwin website and more recently in the Balloon Decor Master Series DVD set released 2009.
